Friends of Spires Music

Friends of Spires Music is a Charitable Association whose sole aim is the financial support of Spires Music Ltd. The Charity was founded in 2011 and supports Spires Music in fulfilment of the following aims:

  • to promote high-quality classical music making in the region;
  • to provide opportunities for talented musicians of all ages to improve their standards and extend their experience as performers, soloists or orchestral players by playing or singing alongside professional musicians;
  • to increase the appreciation of and audiences for classical music by promoting concerts in accessible locations for less mobile concert goers and for those reliant on public transport; and

  • to promote new and historic music of local interest.

Friends of Spires Music is registered with HMRC for Gift Aid purposes, with Reference no. XT26354. Its Registered Address is the same as that of Spires Music Ltd.
